mirror problem

on the server i mentioned yesterday we are trying to set up a mirror and basically what we want to do is mirror the already full disk 1 to a second disk of the same size thats just been put in..

both disk o (the used one) and dick 1 are dynamic.

disk o is partitioned like this: c:/ 117 gb ntfs healthy (system)

d:/115 gb ntfs healthy

now when i click on disk o the "add mirror" optioned is greyed out..

how do i mirror this drive onto the new empty one?

anyone?

Erm well as I understand it, the disk you want to mirror to has to be BIGGER... According to what you have written above it is not...

Are the drives identical? as in make, model etc. Usually when setting up any raid array the drives all need to be identical.

well my colleague says he done it now, we will see when the server crashes and there no backups, i said start again and install raid from the get go, but they wouldnt have it
