    audio problems

Recently setup an Asus V-M2V890 system and the sound doesnt seem to want to work.

We've installed the audio drivers from the support cd etc, checked we plugged the speakers in right and even made sure the comp's not on mute!

Following that, im totally stumped. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Have you checked all the mixer sliders?

Device Manager for any devices with problems to make sure the drivers have installed ok?

What are you using to play the sound? WMP? If so make sure thats not muted (Father in law made that mistake one day, nearly got flattened when I un-muted it)

    Also im assuming WinXP?
