    Wireless internet connection

    Hi, new here and was wondring if someone could help me please...

    I have an orange livebox and have been having loads of trouble getting it up and running,i finally got windows to recognise there was a wireless connection but when i clicked on IE it sill asked me to "dial a connection" as before on wired. Any ideas?

    In IE go to tools, Internet options, connections tab then select never dial a connection.

    It will pick up your wireless Lan automatically if setup correctly.

    think i tried that before but that made the wireless drop out aswell. am i better using the windows installer or the CD tht came with the adapter? or evn both ? :s ive had more luck with the windows 1.

    remove any existing dial up connections

    Edit: additionally what version of windows are you running?

    Still nothing,i disconnected the wired modem and removed the dial up connection and choose never dial a connection but its still coming up with the page not displayed message. should i remove the old modem drivers completely?
