Yeah SATA often lots of silly names tacked on, but every SATA drive will work on your DS4.

This sata is all new to me . Used with Pata /Ide . Employed a caddy system with old computer ide set up . Atm don't have room to fit a multi sata caddy sys but am thinking of getting a couple of single caddy things till I get another case --don't have room in existing case for a stack of caddy things . Using sata single drive (none raid ) ATM . 250 unpartitioned which I am not happy about but new to complete c2D set-up. Got a c2d set -up but getting 'bairn 'to bring me back a amd 4600 chip from 'over the pond' so I can utilise my old ram 266 If it works M/B MSI k8N Neo 4 MS-7125 ver !.X. Must be a stange board as I posted in a couple of places and got no reply's

    cheers Chuchskull.
