Should I leave this geil...

Now - it's a very confusing situation. Setup:

DS3/F10
E6300 @ 2.8 - 1.35v
Geil 6400 Ultra 44412@55518

Basically I can run small FFT test/Blend test for 9 hours...yet if I try the blend test with the RAM at 44412 (no matter what voltage, 2/2.1/2.1/2.3) it'll fail within an hour or mostly within minutes. Now does this suggest a faulty motherboard OR RAM? At the moment my PC is stable - but I don't like the idea that I can't run something at its designated speed. I should probably just leave it...but I'm so tempted to chuck an Asus board or swap the RAM.

I can't say I have. I have 4 slots - each with a 512mb stick in. Also I recently bought 4*1gb of corsair 55512 - which wouldn't work in my board. I'd get lots of error reports and failure in memtest - however scan tested it fine.
