My Email Account Full of Rubbish. How to solve these.

This harddisk is 4.3G. with slave disk 6.5G. slave disk 6.5G, 4 drives:
1 drive, 5.46G, with a installed xp operating system, now not use, files, files sort by types, text, excel, html, pdf, rtf, etc. according to google directory, yahoo directory, dmoz directory, when I save file, search directory for category, and save in text, excel, html, pdf, rtf, etc folders. but I found many same category in text, excel, html, pdf, rtf, etc. the same categoy in text, excel, html, pdf, rtf, etc, this drive have favourites, desktop files, my documents files, program files have useful softwares folders, names, web address.

2 drive: 196 MB, outlook account backup.

3 drive: 188 MB, backup, all users favourites, outlook email backup, Office web site design.

Drive 4: 203 MB, science software download folder.

Please tell how clean this disk. Both the 4.3 G disk and 6.5 G disk.

I already unintall Project 2003, One Note 2003, Visio 2003. Now space 150 MB, Free 400 MB. Folders file type will post later.

Since your hard drives are quite small, backup everything you need (eg to DVDr or external hard drive) and reformat it all! That is the best solution...

get a bigger drive and elchepo eide controller of ebay. you could have 160gb of free space for less than £30. its not worthit with drives that small older 40gig drives can be had for less than £15 on ebay.if your not looking for a upgrade just do what sim say and backp and wipe the lot.

I agree the easiest and most effective thing to do would be to buy a bigger hardrive there cheap enough from ebay.

I find Space Monger to be an absolutely irreplaceable tool for clearing out hard drives, it gives you a visual representation of where all your space has gone, and allows you to delete files from within it, and zoom down to the individual folders.

Get a copy of Drive Image or Norton Ghost. Backup an image of your system onto DVD or external drive (which everyone should have, can be indespesible). Get a new hard drive or two, install & resore the image of your system. Now you have all the same rubbish, just in a much bigger space

Download and run CCleaner it is very good at cleaning up hard disks;
