    How to connect my front audio?

    I have a MSI P965 Platinum mainboard and i have no idea how to connect my front audio jacks to the main board.
    The pins of the mainboard are named as listed below:
    1: aud_mic
    2: aud_gnd
    3:aud_mic_bias
    4: aud_vcc
    5: aud_fpout_R
    6: aud_ret_R
    7: hp_on
    8: key
    9: aud_fpout_L
    10: aud_ret_L

    The labels on my front case audio are labeled:
    for the mic: - mic power
    - gnd
    - mic in
    for the headphones: - gnd
    - L ret
    - R ret
    - L out
    - R out
    pls help
    i m desperate

    Ok im Pretty sure that is correct, but im a little confused over this microphone - gnd but im 98% sure it goes into 4. aud_vcc.

    i believe that thw pin vcc means somethng like "voltage"
    Are you sure its a doog idea to connect there the microphone - gnd

    well im 100% sure the rest is correct which leaves the other three spaces

    Key is used for nothing

    and HP_ON is for headphone amplifieng

    which leaves the aud Vcc which is filteres +5 V used by analogue Audio circuits

    is it gonna work if i connect the two GNDs (for the mic and the headphones) together and then connect it to pin Nr.2: aud_gnd

    That probably would work, but how the hell do you connect the two grounds together?

    also what case is it that you have so i can read the online manual if it has one?

    ok that manual didnt help whatsoever, i think your best bet is to try connecting them together, but ive dont see how that works.
