    v333u cpu fan error!!!

    Hi all,

I have a v333u (think it is a jetway) I decided to reinstall windows, anyway for some reason i went in to bios and set sytem defaults.... big mistake

now when i power it up it says the CPU fan failure and shuts down, i can not get in to bios to disable it. the fan is going likr the clappers and is most definetely working. How can i get around this? i have tried doing a full reset on the CMOS (battery out etc) but still no good.

fan is a thermaltake TR 2 It has 3 wires on the power connector I have always been under the impression that the yellow one was the sensor.

    Any ideas?

Make sure you have it plugged into the correct header on the motherboard.

It is usually labelled clearly "CPU" or "CPU Header" ect...
