Swapping OS to new hard drive?

Just got the 500GB samsung sata drive with 16MB cach, is it worth swapping my OS to this new drive from my old 250GB samsung sata drive?

    Will it be much faster?

Probably. Will you notice the difference? Probably not. Is it worth the effort? Up to you, depends on the OS and the tools you have available and the time it takes. Using something like Caspar (for a MS operating system) or other cloning tool it wouldn't take too long to clone the disk across. (hour or two)
