    Sata Hard Drive Not Being Detected In Bios

    MOTHERBOARD= ECS EXTREME KN1 SLI (AMD SOCKET 939)
    BIOS = PHOENIX-AWARD BIOS
    HARD DRIVE = SAMSUNG 250gb SP2504C

    The Sata hard drive is not appearing in the Standard CMOS features.

    I know that you need to go to INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS at the BIOS main menu & select IDE FUNCTION SETUP.
    Then you need to change "SATA DMA TRANSFER" to Enabled, but I do not have this option.

    The next step would be to go to ONBOARD DEVICE a sub menu of INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS. Then you would need to Enable the "SATA1/SATA2" BIOS setting, but again I do not have this option in the ONBOARD DEVICE.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks
