    S939 cooler advice

can anyone reccomend a decent S939 cooler??

am running a 3700+ and i wanna get a little more out of it by using a decent cooler over the stock AMD one.

have read the hexus round up ( here ) and the anandtech reviews ( here )

    however they dont qute agree.

I'm putting together a little order from scan with some other stuff, so can someone tell me which would be best

    cheers

If you must buy from Scan, then the Scythe Ninja is supposed to be good..... think they have released an updated model called the rev.b that comes with a fan as well, but Scan don't seem to have this. Wouldn't bother with the infinity, I had one and it was rubbish, relative to it's size. This is excellent:

but you'll need to buy a fan as well. Bear in mind that they're all big coolers though, so try and check the relevant website to see if they're compatible with your motherboard and will fit in your case. A smaller, cheaper, good performer is:

First was the Ninja (no fan), then Ninja Plus (with fan) then Rev B (with fan and dodgy retention system).

Scan were selling the Plus, I believe they sell the Rev B now.
