mouse drivers gone!!

i have no mouse drivers, wont let me install my G5 or a ps/2 mouse. have reinstalled setpoint to no avail. Gah

Did you leave some cheese drivers lying around?

PS/2 mice don't need any drivers, windows should have them built in. Sure you haven't disabled the controller somehow?

Boot into safe mode and see if you have control.

are you saying you cant install G5 drivers, or is it youve completely lost mouse?
