nothing personally, i hate iTunes. But i do remember reading on Engadget that the last update fixed most of the Vista problems. There has been at least one update since then as well, so you should be safe.
Cheers funk - yeah - i hate it too - its just for the ipod, like the hardware but hate apple software - ah well....
Ever looked at any of the alternatives?
I can't think of any off the top of my head, but there are at least a couple of apps that let you manage you iPod without iTunes :)
Red Chair do Anapod Explorer which is good, but not free :(
This may be worth a look, Floola, it's free and; "It's a standalone application that can be run directly from your iPod and needs no installation under Linux, Mac OS X and Windows (Windows Vista is supported). Floola supports all most common used features including podcasts and smart playlists!"

Or, YamiPod, also free, at http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home/
I've not got an ipod, so have not tried these, but they do get good user reviews.
Yep iTunes runs fine on vista with me, including all the ipod stuff.
I was also able to migrate the libary over aswell by taking the itunes music libary and itunes libary from "my music" in xp and droping them into the same folder in vista started iTunes and bam was the same as in xp.:)
Cheers guys! Like the recommendations for alternative software that you can use an ipod on - i hate itunes :surprised:
Think yourself lucky that you didn't chose a sony mp3 player, the hardware is fine (very good in fact), but the sware they ship, Sonicstage, is dire.
When it came time to upgrade from my 4yr mini-disc player (almost daily use), I specifically avoided Sony products because of SStage.
