My friend also bought a EZCool even after i warned him over and over. Same thing happened to him within a week, took out his motherboard as well. I hope your components are ok

If you are referring to me, thanks, everything survived except my motherboard, but it was not worth much and plus it taught be a valuable lesson- dont buy cheap psu's.

I've been to Scan today and got the Corsair 520W HX series PSU and the PC is running fine.
