new build - will the cooling fit?

I know, I could do the research and take the measurements but I'm in one of those moods...

Essentially I'm about to have a P5B Deluxe WiFi and a PC-V1000. What I want to know is will it fit a Tuniq 120? I made a mess when planning the last build (a PC-V600) and had to get a low profile cooler however I'm thinking quad-core now, so would like to get decent cooling on it.

    Anyone with a similar setup?

There must be someone out there with a similar rig?

Ok, given the lack of response I guess not...

So another question - I need to put an order in to Scan on Friday for a bunch of new stuff including an E6850. I'm looking for recommendations for a high performance air cooler to go with it, the only real caveat being that Scan must sell them (I want to order all the kit from one place if at all possible)

    So what do people recommend?

thats worth a good read, i got a zalman 9700 for my xp3700+ so i doubt my views on it wont be much use to you.

one thing to make sure is that it isnt too high for your case. i have a coolermaster wavemaster and i cant slot the motherboard tray in with the cooler attached, i have to fit the cooler when the tray is in the case

You might be better off posting this in general hardware so more people see it. Thats a popular case and popular cooler, so someone should have them.

Cheers. The V1000 should be deep enough though (I'm hoping!)
