    Unhappy Dust!!!!

I currently own a Antec 900 case with a whopping 200mm fan top. It shifts a great amount of air but it is quite possibly the biggest dust trap ever attached to a case. This means that i have to clean out my case every 2 weeks!! Is there any way to get a filter infront of that fan or a way of stopping the dust from entering the case.

You should be able to get hold of some filter mesh/material to stop the dust, but it'll need regular cleaning. Still, its better than doing the whole case all the time.

I use filters on my front 2 120mm intake fans and they work a treat, I just wipe the dust off every now and then

    Something like this:

The problem you're gonna have is getting one for a 200mm fan! Probably better off trying to source the mesh on its own and cutting it to size

You tried using a pair of old tights?

I used them for years and was so much cheaper than buying filters for odd sized fans

I tended to prefer the thigh area as it proved to give a large area to use

That fan blows upwards and out of the case doesn't it?

I think it's more likely to be the sheer through put of air generated by all the fans, filters on the air in fans are probably more important.
And regular vacumeing & dusting of the room.
