Memory Stick Can Only Be Half Full

Hiya,

I have a 1GB USB memory stick and a 1GB SD card and I can only put 500MB worth of MP3's on both of them before Windows Vista causes an error and won't copy across anymore?

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing it?

Not heard of this one before....

Have you tried formatting the cards ? or running a disk check on them ?

Failing that, is there another computer or a friends computer you can try them on to rule out any other problems ?

Possibly corrupt sectors on half the disk?

As said above try complete formatting the card & try on another PC.
