    Redownload iTunes music

I recently suffered failures of both my laptop and desktop, with the consequent loss of my iTunes music. Now luckily most of it was on my portable hard drive, because I took my music on a (fruitless) trip to work. However I've still lost a good few albums and singles.

The iTunes store still has a record of my purchased music, is there any way of getting back what I've lost?

From what I've gathered, if you file a support request through the itunes site they will enable another download for your account's purchased songs.

Seems they will only do this once a year though, better get backing them up onto CD or DVD!

    Re: Redownload iTunes music

I got a VERY enthusiastic email from Ariel of iTunes support. Unfortunately I had to download everything (190 tracks) and then remove duplicates due to the age of my downloads. Needless to say, a full backup will ensue.
