Monitor doesn't display video and No pc led

Simply put, when I boot up my computer, there is no video on my monitor.

I initially thought that the video card was the culprit so I removed it and plugged my monitor into the integrated video port, which didn't work. I'm really out of options here, there are no identifiable beeps, the only other thing peculiar is that the PC led surrounding the power on button doesn't light up when I turn on the computer.

    Any help would be appreciated.

New build or old PC ?
Do any of the fans in the Power supply spin up or on the CPU cooler ?
Any noise what so ever ?
Checked the fuses on your power leads ?

    Old PC

    All the fans spin

Well, the only noise is the noise of the hard drives

I'm not sure what you mean by fuses, but all my molex connectors are used up

Re: Monitor doesn't display video and No pc led

All you can do is check your monitor works on another PC, if it does then its your graphics card or PC thats at fault.
If you can't check the monitor then its worth digging out your manual and resetting the BIOS by shorting the CMOS, then plug your monitor into the onboard graphics. Its a long shot as you have already tried the onboard graphics but its worth a go.

reset the bios by removing the battery for about 10 minutes, still no luck

thanks for your replies, I suppose I'll sell all the parts except the motherboard
