Cool Apple software for dvd presentaion

    Hi All,

I am a bit of a mac novice...however I am putting a presentation together using Powerpoint but this will not allow me to insert a secure DVD. I am trying to find some suitable software that will allow me to put a presentation of slides together and insert this 5 minute DVD into one of the slides....

    Can anyone help?

    Many thanks

When you say 'secure DVD' I'm going to assume you mean one protected by CSS as pretty much every commercially available DVD is. If that is the case then rip the DVD and make an mpeg or avi or something out of it then try putting that in to PowerPoint. There are various pieces of software which will do the ripping.encoding. Handbrake is one of them.

I've never actually done this mind you but it sounds like it should work. Or you could of course just come out of the PowerPoint presentation, play the DVD, then go back in to PowerPoint.
