BSOD (Memory Issue/Motherboard)

Well, I got a BSOD when playing two games, both seemed to be the same error. Then I got one just surfing the net. Previously I had just installed two more sticks of RAM to total 4GB. Each time a log was write and it did a memory dump but I do not where they are. So the memory could be the issue. Or the motherboard does not like 4GB but had no problem at the start.

The ram I had thought faulty and had failed a memtest from my end, when sent back where tested and found to be working fine. So ethier the motherboard memory sockets are faulty somehow or something else is up. I will do a quick memtest on the current two and then the next two, tonight/tomorrow and report back. But I'm not sure how reliable it will be. Any thing else to check?

Run memtest on each individual stick not pairs
If no errors are found then run a single stick in each of the differnt sockets to check that one socket is not dead.

Check in the BIOS and manually set the speed and timeing to the stock speeds

What memory is it? make & model
What motherboard have you got? make & model
Are they the one's from your My System?

According to the corsair website it's compatable with the p5k delux wifi
Have you set it manually in the BIOS? speed & timeings

Do memtest v1.70 test 5 with all the sticks in place, and if you get errors, do them one at a time.

Make sure your RAM voltage is set to whatever it is supposed to be, and not AUTO.

I will set the voltage manually in the BIOS. Then run test 5.

Edit: Set the voltage, ran test 5 and it failed about 40 errors. Now 1 at a time.

Edit2: Before I do stick by stick, i just played a game and got no BSOD. Might have to play a bit more first.

So i found one stick with a problem, I will later see if its the slot instead. But something came up, when I changed the memory, i would push the power button and then it would power on and then after a sec it would turn off and then turn back on and boot up fine after that. What could be causing that?
