Probably the one thing you didn't tell us is whether it has an AGP or PCI-e slot for the graphics card. If it's an AGP slot, then no luck for the geForce 8600.

Re: Will i be able to use this graphics card?

I'm no expert on this, but for that money (and the fact that you're using XP), I'd go for a top-end direct-X 9 card, rather than a mid-range direct-x 10 card. The only difficulty is finding a shop that is still stocking them. You'll certainly be able to get a decent one for £120 if you can.

Well you could definetly go for a X1950 XT or Pro, XT bieng the better card, for around £100. Alot faster than an 8600. Any chance you know your PSU?

Re: Will i be able to use this graphics card?

I would also invest in some more RAM....1GB is absolute minimum in todays games and that motherboard is probably (please check first!) DDR1.....If it is, you can pick up another gig very cheap from ppl switching to DDR2.

Good point about the PSU tigerboyce!

There should be a sticker on it somewhere that tells you what wattages/current it can output on certain voltage rails... if you can't provide that, then just an overall wattage figure would probablyl do.

PSU looks a bit weak. I would stick with ATI/AMD as you can use 'surroundview'. This is an option in the BIOS to enable multiple monitors. (up to 3)
