Imo P35 is a better chipset than nF650i but if you needed the extra PATA support then 650i suited you better.

I think that you'll find that it does - abit & Asus at least have already released BIOS supporting Penryn on their 650is.

That's useful to know, I'd ruled out a 650i based mobo because of the lack of Penryn support.
