    ecs pf5 extreme v1.0 cpu,s

hi , i have a pf5 extreme mobo with intel pentium d 945 3.4mhz cpu. I would like to upgrade but am not shure what cpu's will be compatible. i know socket 775 will plug in but will they all work better than my pentium d. i was thinking of core 2 duo. if not what would be a good upgrade or am i stuck with the 945 for ever.

    ECS Web Site
