    Mac compatible gaming mouse

    Hi all

I'm after a gaming mouse. Just tried the MX Revolution but it was rubbish. It wouldn't track properly or anything, so looking for something else.

When I say mac compatible, I mean it just works under OS X leopard. I imagine it sees a USB mouse as a mouse and job's a goodun but I need to check.

Can anyone recommend a good, cheap one? I'm a FPS player mostly and want to get a UT3 clan started...

    Ta

EDIT: This mouse will be used in Win XP for gaming (using all the mouse's features) and just a normal mouse in OS X

Just seen the Microsoft Sidewinder and want it. Can someone confirm it'll work in OS X?

Thanks for that, I'll give it a shot then. I'm aware there'll never be scpeific mac drivers for it being a microsoft mouse, but I don't care as long as it works.

It's in Win XP MCE (boot camp) where all the games action happens

SteerMouse works reasonably well with MS mice, but doesn't implement the scroll-wheel acceleration that was designed for MS's first gen of 'soft-scroll' mice. SteerMouse also advertises compatibility with Razer mice and has just released a Leopard version. It's $20, but worth it if you want a decent mouse driver for OSX.

Thanks for that, I'm downloading it at the mo and I'll give it a go. Ordered a Sidewinder from CCL, cheapest I could find.
