if formatting doesnt work (it should) just buy a 1gb one and save yourself the trouble, there like £5 lol

The card's controller may not allow the two areas to be formatted as one. You can format each one individually, but not necessarily be able to format the drive as a whole. Without seeing the device, it is impossible to say.

Need the mfr codes as well as the serial number (the VID - Vendor ID and PID - Product ID)))
