Lightscribe Discs
Not sure this is the place to write this, but I am looking for the best quality disc maker that makes lightscribe discs.
From my experience and views from others Verbatim, Infiniti and Imation. From the lightscribe site they show these makes.

I know these arent exactly expensive or will have a gulf in prices, but I dont want crappy discs that get lots of coasters.
Any opinions muchos appreciated :)

Re: Lightscribe Discs
Verbatim, Imation, Memorex are recognised good brands, Philips and TDK are also well known. As for which one is 'best' (Whatever you mean by best) I wouldn't like to say. Certainly you shouldn't have problems with any of those brands

Re: Lightscribe Discs
Thanks peterb, glad you found it useful, I too thought it made interesting reading when I stumbled across it a while back...
Programs such as 'DVD Info Pro' (and probably a few others I'm not aware of) are useful for reading manufacturer codes from media, googling media codes can turn up lots of information also...

OK cool. The last batch of DVD-RW i got were Verbatim and theyve been pretty good, just wanted to make sure they were still good - will carry on getting them then.
Cheers all and thanks sema4 for the link :)
