Vista Ultimate 32bit BSOD!

I am having a little trouble with vista ultiamte...

Installed and ran fine for the first little while and i left it to install updates as there were a few. When i returned there was my first blue screen error, basically saying 'clock interrupt was not received' '***stop:0x00000101(0x00000030, 0x00000000, 0x8BdE7120, 0x00000002)'. If that rings any bells to anyone. I am not too sure on what may of caused this although i believe it is hardware related. Maybe CPU (Intel Q6600 Quad Core) or Moterboard/BIOS (Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 running version F3 BIOS), but as i say i am ansure as both of these are vista compatible and its only at certain times it blue screens, it can be left for hours and not do it once then in like 20 minutes it can do it twice. Has anyone had this same problem? Would apreciate any feedback that anyone has..

Has this only happened since you downloaded the updates?

no because i have re-installed the OS again after it happened first and left the updates and it happened the same..
