    Extreme Edition Overclocking

    Quick Question i had was about overclocking i have a

    Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 @ 2933.6 so at stocks speeds
    Asus P5N32-SLI-SE-Deluxe motherboard
    Corsair Twinx XMS2-8500 2GB Kit

    Anyway i was wondering if the Multiplier is unlocks which it should be is that the best way to overclock it or should i still do it by FSB means.

    The extreme editions are multiplier unlocked. You can overclock by multiplier, by FSB or a combination of both. Upping the multiplier is the simplest method.

    Yup multiplier unlocked is the major benefit of the EE, means you can just turn it up, within reason of course.
