    No, I don't have SLi This problem re-emerged today when I thought I'd give it a random go and try disconnecting the monitor then plugging it back in (had to move the PC anyway), but it still didn't work after reconnecting.

    I also tried plugging in my old CRT into the second connector at the same time, but neither came to life

    No idea what this is.

    Have you tried a different cable? Having reviewed all the other things you've reported trying this is the only other option I can think of.
