    nvidia or ati

Got £200 for a new graphics looking at either the geforce 8800GT 512MB or the radeon HD3870 512MB, not sure which one will be the best.
The reviews on the web point towards the geforce but is there going to be a massive difference in them.
    Any help would be good

No, that's the old GTS which is easily outperformed by the 8800GT.

If you're only a gamer I'd get the GT at the moment. If you're a more general usage person then the HD3870.

For gaming the 8800gt would be better then the AMD 3870. But the AMD 3870 is about £20 to £30 cheaper I think. Anyhow both are good cards.
