Chieftec Hi-Fi HE-01B-OP VFD
Hello there.
First post and I'm asking for help, not to smoth but hey I'm in need ;).
Well, I'm "rebuilding" my chassifree computer with mid/high range specs,
E6850, 8800gts, evga680i to a HTPC, I was looking for a smoth full ATX case. Noise isn't a problem and I think I'll be able to keep that chassi cool enough. I was looking for anyone owning a such case, or anyone having any opinions regarding one. I havn't found a single review online, and its making my scared. Why're no one buying this. I noticed the silver versions white lit buttons, are the buttons lit white on the black version too? Would a 8800gts even fit in there, do the iMon stuff work good with Vista MCE 2005?. And all other general case questions too, does it have a high or low grade feel too it. What's chieftechs general stuff like. Any answear will be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

you looking for a htpc case? atx ones are few and far between but antec have the fusion max coming out soon and it looks very promising (might get one myself if it's not too expensive). check out silentpcreview.com | Everything about Silent / Quiet Computers and HTPC Forums for reviews.

Thanks a bunch! I've been looking around a lot, and came to like the Chieftec Hi-Fi HE-01B-OP. Mostly asking here if anyone has any experience with it. Thanks a lot anyway, I'll surely browse through there now :).

Probably because it doesn't appear to be too available.
this is an UK centred forum & I don't think that there is a single UK stockist ...
Re: Chieftec Hi-Fi HE-01B-OP VFD
Fair enough :). I'm Swedish, and figured the stock would be simlar in Europe, (it's often Europe vs Asia vs North America) when it comes to such things. This might also explain why there's so few reviews. Thanks for making that clear Buff.
I can't make links but "chieftec.com/hi-fi-series.html" should help anyone to see what they look like, I think they look pretty good, slim for being full ATX and all which is also why I'm concerned about fitting stuff in it.
