    ECS KN3 SLI2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI

    Hi there i want to get a AMD PHENOM 9500 quad core. Dose anyone know if the ECS KN3 SLI2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI motherboard supports this processor....many thanks 1976daz

    Not according to this list, ECS Web Site , this just refers to FX and dual core cpu's, it may be that the technology of the kn3 is too outdated to support the new phenom cpu's.

    I think that the only way support could be added is through a new bios release (the version on the link ablove is 07/07/17), though I wouldn't hold my breath.

    If you check the bios download page occasionally to see if an update is available, you may be lucky, ECS Web Site .

    The last release, 07/07/17, was in July 07 and was only minor.

    It wont, the cpu support list shows.
