    Re: 6.5Gb over 2 dvd's help needed

are they to transfer onto another pc or or to play on a dvd player?

if it's the first you could split them up using winrar

I don't know if it's practical, but you could try using DVD shrink to fit it onto a single 4.7Gb DVD. Compression may not be what you want though if it's a calibration DVD.

Winzip in its latest showing will also split into chunks, speficially 4.7Gb chunks for DVD, used it to do something v.similar myself, results were fine

If they used Winzip then obviously the contents wouldn't be playable.

Either go for a DL disk or use DVD shrink or DVDRebuilder and a suitable encoder or have a go at re-authoring the DVD to see if there's a logical place that you can split into 2.

Of all the above I'd go for the DL disk option

    Another vote for the above.

Nero Vision express is also good at recoding stuff to get it to fit onto a DVD.
