Sony VAIO spares

Sony VAIO notebook spares are notoriously difficult to get hold of. Sony seem to have a stranglehold on getting parts for their notebooks. I'm talking about things like motherboards, DVD drives, keyboards and so on.

Does anyone here have any experience with any company that's good for VAIO spares? I've tried laptopspares.com and had mixed experiences with them. I've googled for them of course, so I'd prefer it if you'd had personal experience (or at least trusted opinions) about any companies.

Hey mike you ever get anywhere with Sony parts, got a Vaio PCG K215 here and someone's tried to ram a PCMCIA card into it so hard the miniboard with the pins on it has bent out of shape, pulled itself from the mainboard socket and snapped some of the pins

I am in the same boat - trying to locate a new system fan for my wife`s ageing but still good vaio pcg grt 786m.
I will post any source I FIND ON HERE THOUGH.

Ebay is the best bet!! It also tends to be cheaper too.
