    Ads and IE

    Hi

I have a problem with pop ups that occur randomly when launching internet explorer, mainy named "adz galore". This has come about I believe as a result of me downloading a file on limewire. More annoyingly on every website I visit I have a large blank space on the left:

    /albums/bb247/x8resevil/issue.jpg

Thats on photobucket by the way.

I have completed scans many scans and none identify or cure the problem.

This only happens on Internet Explorer and not Fire Fox by the way.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this problem?

    Thanks

    Re: Ads and IE

It's probably worth giving adaware a run. Although, I would personally wipe the O/S if I knew that there was rubbish infecting it

    Re: Ads and IE

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware got rid of it straight away by the looks of things, certainly no white space at the side and no pop ups in the last half an hour.

Will run a some of the other recommended software to make sure though.

Yeah I see the thank user option at the side, how do I use that? Or is there a post count restriction?

    Thanks anyway, really is appreciated.

There is a post count restriction I think (25?) Bit silly IMHO,. as it is often the first post from someone is asking for help!
