    Not a problem as such.

Ok, I Need a new laptop. Preferablly a MAC . I Need it for College, and im not willing to pay through the nose for it.

I Looked at the new Mac Book thing, and love it. Will Definatley get one when i get the cash, but will never take it to college.

I Don't mind S/hand. But as long as it does the Job.

    Any Reccomendations?

Define "pay through the nose". A Macbook is likely to set you back a little more than a basic Windows laptop, but withouit knowing your budget it's hard to recommend anything

To be honest, if you just want a small word proccessing and internet laptop for college, what about the EEE PC?

After all, you're not looking for anything majorly complex for college and it's nice and portable.

I also had a sneaky idea using it as a portable DVD player, rip your DVD's to DivX files and store them on an SDD card, and maybe get a USB TV adaptor as well (though I suspect you have to do some re-wiring to get that one to work)

Cheapest Macbook is about £699 - if you shop around you might get it for about £650, but Apple Macs don't tend to be discounted much.
