    But I keep the bass at the lowest setting, at all times (like I said before). There's not really any reason to have it any higher because one bar is enough.

    I tried to record a sample of this choppiness occurring, but it just sounded dirstorted. Distortion is definitely not the problem (just to clarify).

    You may have the bass at low volume, but the rest of the speakers are kinda pushed. I'll have to wait till I am alone in the flat to try out your volume.
