XP Won't Detect Mouse After Reinstall

As you can see from one of my other posts i had a problem with xp startup...to cut a long story short i uninstalled a driver...then xp wouldn't boot...in safe mode neither my keyboard or mouse would work so i had to opt for a reinstall...during the setup xp process my mouse wouldn't work...now after a reinstall the keyboard works but my mouse wont work...its a Logitech MX-1000, it worked fine for the first install until i uninstalled that driver which was an nvidia network driver or something...the mouse is on and plugged in...it is wireless...i have tried pluggin it in to both the ps2 and usb port...can someone please help

Have you a cd with drivers on for this mouse?, if so run the cd to install drivers

If not go to Control panel>add hardware and follow the Wizard which should find the mouse and look for drivers online

Make sure you have the BIOS enabled for USB mouse and keyboard support.

Here are the correct drivers for XP 32bit: MX - 1000
