Hi guys, some mentioned to me in one of my older threads that the stock cooler goes up to around 2400rpm. at that time when i increased the fan setting to 100% (by turning legacy off) i only really got around just under 2000rpm. so i just assumed my cooler was dud - but it didn't matter too much.

but then today i was playing games, and the cpu started over heating (alarms been set to 60*c) and when i went back to windows, everest was telling me the cpu cooler was at around 2400/2500 rpm?

how comes i dont get that high if i turn legacy off n have the cooler at 100%? the extra 500rpm .

prolly a weird question. lol.
