    pop up error saying out of memory 103!

    i have an old hp desktop running window vista premium. i just recently up from one gig to four gigs. now there error message saying my computer out of memory 103. is it because i'm running a 32bit window n i put four gig in it? can someone please help me out?

    check the paging files not a fixed size, it may be to small.

    if your not sure how google it.

    thank you for reply. i did what u say n google it.i just have a couple of question which they do explain clearly. i'm at the virtual memory setting under the total paging filing size for all drives. they say the currently allocated mb is 3361 and the recommende is 4591 mb. should i set it to 4591? is it safe to go over currently allocated mb?

    either set it to system managed or 1.5x the physical ram

    min and max at 6144 should sort you out
