new pc build - up and running, couple of Qs

all my parts for a new pc arrived on tuesday and its now up and running, i have been out of the loop for a while on hardware so had a couple of issues trying to figure out where to hook everything up etc

anyhow i have a coolmaster 690 and an asus p5nd 750i 775 mobo, the coolmaster case as a number of internal connecters one of is a bundle of blue, gren, white connectoers(single pin) i cant see where these go?

Also i have been checking the temp and it was sitting around 32c for the cpu and around 30c for the system, i am currently installing all the windows updates it just grabbed and its now on 42c for both system and cpu - is these high at all.

    specs are as follows -

    quad core 2.40 cpu
    4 gig ram
    asus p5nd mobo
    8800 gtx xxx card
    500g samsung hdd
    dvdrw
    620w coolmaster psu
    690 coolmaster case
    22" monitor

    many thanks

Your Temp is fine, the wires could be for the front usb/sound if you have them.

Re: new pc build - up and running, couple of Qs

    The wires are for:

    - Power LED
    - Hard Drvie LED
    - Reset Switch
    - Internal Speaker if you have one

There is a header bundled together (usually at the very bottom of the board when its upright.

Take a look in the manual and remember the orientation of the pins when you oput them on. The pins should have a small arrow on them. The pin to where the arrow goes is always +positive.
The +positive should be marked next to the pin on the motherboard.

The USB/SOUND/FIREWIRE header will be in a block.

Read the manual carefully for all of this and you will be OK.
