E4500 multiplier sticks at x11
Hey all, I'm trying to overclock my E4500 using a x10 multiplier but everytime I set ORTHOS off it jumps up to x11.
I know it has something to do with Intel's CIE and EIST but I can't find a definite answer as to which one (if any) I should disable. Help!
Re: E4500 multiplier sticks at x11
EIST will be the 1 with the multi but you could disable both ;)
Re: E4500 multiplier sticks at x11
Disable both. Neither will do you any favours if you're overclocking.
Re: E4500 multiplier sticks at x11
If you're overclocking turn off ALL CPU management options
Re: E4500 multiplier sticks at x11
Bit of an odd one this, I've disabled both and CPU-Z reads fine under load but Prime95 and ORTHOS still read the CPU speed as if I'm running an x11 multiplier (even though I'm clearly not as the overclock would be too high). :O_o1:
