No output from graphics card
Having moved my pc to a new case my graphics hard has stopped producing an output. The fan spins up to 100% and stays there while to pc continues to boot normally. Using onboard graphics everything works. I tried with a linux live CD and having the graphics card in seems to enable higher resolutions with the onboard graphics than when it is not plugged in, although not using the graphics card directly. The card seems to work ok in anothre rig. I have tried rsetting the bios.
I assume that there is something wrong with the mortherboard but before I RMA I would like anyones idea on alternative solutions.
Thanks

Re: No output from graphics card
OK, if the gfx card works in another system, and the onboard gfx enable you to use your pc, then the culprit would appear (possibly, maybe:)) to be the pci-e slot on the mobo.
As your mobo has only one pci-e slot you can't test the card in a secoundry slot.
Have a close look at the slot, maybe there's a bent or dirty connection. If it's dirty, use an eraser on a pencil and gently rub it. If there's a bent (really unlikely) connection, try putting it back into position.
I think, really, that you have gone as far as you can, and that an rma is the most likely option.
Re: No output from graphics card
If you have no luck I'd recommend building the machine outside of the case. I had an issue before with a short caused by an additional brass stand-off that caused the graphics card not to be found on boot up.
