low profile pci tv capture card that works with media portal?

dvb-t ideally but if you know of an ioption with everything that would be great.

i noticed the hauppage nova-t 500 is low profile but they dont supply a backing plate.

im now thinking of a separate card for sattelite so all suggestions appreciated.

Yeah it's stupid the Nova-T 500 doesn't come with a low profile bracket, I seem to remember some poeple saying they had come across some somewhere though. Email to Hauppauge support?

I don't know of any off hand that are the right size and definitely come with the bracket

ok ive gone with the haupage as that seems the best supported and dual tuner.

would really like to know any suggestions of a sattelite card?

The Technotrend, Blackgold and FireDTV cards are the most supported as far as i know. Don't know of a low profile card though.

what kind of satellite? you'll only get FTA channels in the UK with a DVB-S card - otherwise you need a sky set-top box and a PVR150

tbh im new to sattlelite. ive just moved into a place that has a dish with 2 cables running off the lnb. looks like its pointing in the same direction as sky so wanted to see what i could pick up.

You may need to contact them to make sure they actually supply a low profile braket though, too many companies don't.
