Unhappy Sd Card Problem-Parameter is Incorrect

Ive just got back off my hols, and tried to retrieve my holiday snaps from my camera SD Memory card, every time i try to copy the files from the card onto the pc i get an error message
" Cannot Copy IMG_00176: The Parameter is Incorrect." and doesnt copy any of the files.

I can however see a preview of the picture in a thumbnail view, but cant seem to get the files to copy.

    Any help is appriciated

    Cheers

    What O/S are you using?
connecting the sd card through a reader?
try right clicking on the Drive letter, Properties > Tools > Error-checking or something like that.
