    360 ghosting problem

Got a 360 on wednesday hooked it up to my samsung 226bw and all was fine!! But today when i get the mission where u have go steal some drugs back for Elizabeth i started to get an odd ghosting problem. Will try and get a pic but also try and explain it. For example, the radar on the hud now has another radar in a lighter shade just off from it- if you know what i mean!

I have unplugged the vga cable from my monitor and also where it connects to the 360 but no luck. My desktop viewing is fine, it just when i now turn the 360 to play gta4 it has this kinda ghosting thing going on.

Any ideas what it could be, or why this has happened. Oh got the vga cable from GAME.

I don't mean to take the p*ss, but it might just be the special effects off GTA IV when you go fast.
    Like when you get fire-fights.

I've got got Samsung monitor. It is normal to get that bluring effect when you hammer it along?

I tried a m8 official cable out and it went away. It was not the normal blur you get in the game. It was like seeing double of the same image. Got the official one on order from John Lewis lol can't understand why Argos didn't have it

weird problem maybe you should use your 360 on an LCD TV as TBH the thing wasnt created for monitor play it was made for large LCD's

Yes it is, their nearly the same things. The problem was you were using a cheap VGA cable, i did this and my 360 look leaps better.

Well when i connect the GAME vga cable (it was not cheap lol £14.99) I did think the picture looked a little washed and just not right to what i remember from playing on my m8's 360 with the same screen as me. Just one more day and i'll be back playing gta4

I would never again buy 3rd party video leads. I think of it as the Microsoft official product will the benchmark in video quality, anything cheaper i won't bother with.

    Re: 360 ghosting problem

Yeah won't be getting 3rd party stuff again. Would have got the official one first time round if GAME had it in stock.

Anyone had stuff delivered by the Home Delivery Network??? Got the official cable on order from John Lewis. Says this when i look my tacking code up:

    Date Depot Action Reason
    24/05/2008 00:00:00 Customer= Parcel Data Received

    25/05/2008 18:26:32 Sort Centre - Droitwich Spa = Sorted

Does sorted mean its has been picked or sent on its way ???

When i ordered it from John Lewis it said i would have it by Tuesday 2pm but don't see something like dispatched so going to be pissed off if i don't get it
