Looks ok generally but do you have a specific need for the OCZ 4gb Flex PC2-9200 RAM as unless you're planning to water-cool them (slightly pointless) then you can do just as well for less money?

The motherboard is also a lot of £ if you don't have a particular reason for choosing an X48-based board.

With regards to storage, some of the eSata output Icy Boxes already come with an eSata bracket, so you may not have to purchase one seperately.

As for the water-cooling, given it's a new loop, starting from scratch, I'd be very tempted to flog the X2O block and grab the newly released XPSC Edge waterblock.

Everything looks perfectly fine to me. The only thing I'd have a look at is the X48 motherboard. To be honest I don't think it provides any advantage over the P35 chipset and you could save yourself quite a lot of money getting something like this instead.

unless there is something specific about the X48 board that you require its basically pointless getting it.

Re: New Build Advice Please :)

    Thanks for the input guys!

I wanted the OCZ because its the fastest 4gb ddr2 kit i cud find, and I have read reviews that it reaches 1200 @ 5-5-5-15 on air (I wont bother water cooling it).

I wanted a pci-e 2.0 mobo (because I have a pci-e 2.0 8800GT) and I love my DFI atm so wanted another. I read a review and its can oc just as well as the x38, but at less slightly voltage and therefore less heat.

The IcyBox doesn't come with the eSata bracket according to the website.

If the XSPC X20 is rubbish I will get the XPSC Edge. I will goggle some reviews now.
