Just what size is it? There are some sites that allow free transfer but there's a limit.

600MB, really want one to one rather than via a website
I would say just get mIRC, get onto any channel (hexus is a good place to start), then initiate a DCC send

You could both download a program called hamachi, and then creat a virtual network via the 2 pc's, and if you were to set the file as shared, he could access it, and copy it to his pc.
It works fine on my pc's, and I can use it to game with my friends over the net, and it lets me access their shared files, and shared printers
Should work fine, and all networks are pass protected so no worries there.
will give both of those a try
cheers
Jon
Burn it onto a CD and post it to him.

could try them, it will let you upload a max of a gig for free and it will send a link for your mate to download it
Think the link stays live for 14 days
I use mIRC personally or through msn and leave large files running over night. I use megaupload for the exact reason you state, sending to more than one person
http is harder to set up, and you can download over ftp using web browsers and download managers anyway
Its worth splitting the file regardless, especially if you upload is slow
it's not hard!!!111
I mean easyphp once it's installed and running that's it. No need to set anything up at all. All you need to do is port forward which is what you'd have to do on ftp
I'll guide you step by step should you want to set it up on http. afaik http is faster than ftp.
have you tried Groove? It's on a trial basis with MS or you can try Collanos | Think Out of the Inbox which offers a similar free product.
