Not receiving email updates for subscribed Forum threads

I am subscribed to a thread that I started and its set so that I receive an instant email when new posts are added but I’ve not received any emails. I only joined recently and started posting this weekend so I’m wondering if that’s the cause!

Go to user control panel, edit options and check the subscribed threads options. Ypu can choose to receive e mail on a per thread basis.

Thanks, I’d already changed the default setting to Instant Email Notification but it makes no difference. If I look in my CP it shows the threads as being subscribed so I can’t see what else to do!

I don’t use anti Spam software so it seems as if either the email isn’t being sent or my Hosting company is blocking your emails. I haven’t had problems with my Hosting companies with other forum notifications so I’m not quick to point the finger at them. I’ll ask them though once we’ve exhausted any possibilities your end.

The email address is fine although I have changed it since joining.

I had the same prob, but after 1000+ subscribed threads. I deleted all my subs, changed my profile to no notification, then back again to instant. Fixed it for me.

Maybe check it has not hit your spam filter?
